Idiom is a celebration of wine and words. The award-winning range of premium wines stems from the Bottega family’s Da Capo Vineyards, which are located in the southernmost part of the Stellenbosch wine region, near Sir Lowry's Pass, overlooking False Bay. The range consists of big, bold blends of noble varietals and single cultivar renditions of Italian and Mediterranean grape varietals, all uniquely expressed in a Cape idiom.
Description
A complex three-barrel limited release of multi-clone Merlot. A dark medium-bodied wine with redcurrants, purple fig, white pepper and sweet cloves aromas. Smooth tannins complement the blueberry and blackberry fruits. A savoury expression of this variety with a long lingering finish. Decanting recommended.
