Explosive and evolving aromas of dark ripe red plums, tea leaf and cigar box are followed by hints of pencil shavings, tobacco and trademark cassis character. A serious, tightly packed wine with a long lingering finish. A wine of great pedigree that will reward cellaring. Decanting recommended.
