Robert Parker says about this acquisition that it proves the existence of undiscovered great quality terroirs among the Grands Terroirs of Côte de Nuits. The quality of the vineyards their rigorous management and vinification have established the Domaine des Perdrix as a renowned Domaine one of the best among the Grands Vins de Bourgogne.
Description
"A very ripe nose offers up notes of chocolate, poached plum, spice and noticeable wood influence. The supple, round and easy-going medium weight plus flavors also possess good density while coating the palate on the lingering, complex and reasonably well-balanced finale. This is definitely a ripe Ech and not really the style that I prefer but it possess very good quality and is a wine that should be approachable young if desired." Burghound
