The fruit for this wine is sourced from premium trellised vineyards located on the south-facing slopes of the Stellenboschkloof. Weathered granite soils and cooling ocean breezes create ideal conditions for this sensitive grape variety.

The wine spent extended time on the lees with periodic stirring, enhancing its texture and flavor integration.

Grapes were gently de-stemmed and lightly pressed, with the juice treated carefully to minimize oxygen exposure. Cold settling occurred overnight without enzymes, followed by inoculation with selected yeasts to preserve fruit flavors during fermentation. A long, cool fermentation was followed by extended time on the lees with periodic stirring to ensure texture and flavor integration.
