Both Semillon and Sauvignon blanc grapes are grown on Constantia Uitsig, with a Mediterranean climate with cool sea breezes from False Bay during the growing season. Soils are alluvial decomposed granite from the slopes of Table Mountain. The soils are deep, well-drained, and have a high reflection rate.

After fermentation, the wine is blended and matured for a further 6 months in French oak barrels before a light filtration and bottling. The wine is aged for another year in bottle before release.

The Natura Vista is comprised of 48% Sauvignon blanc, fermented in stainless steel to retain freshness and 52% Semillon, fermented in French oak barrels allowing for a richer, fuller component.

Constantia Uitsig is a historic Constantia wine estate focused on a small, considered range of South African wines. Rooted in one of the Cape’s oldest wine regions, the estate produces wines shaped by cool coastal influence, classic varieties and a clear sense of place.
