Constantia Royale
Constantia Royale is a limited production Sauvignon Blanc made from grapes grown on the 17 hectare, family-owned farm of Nova Zonnestraal in the beautiful Constantia Valley. It is said that Sauvignon Blanc vines should be able to see the ocean. With this in mind, the vineyards at Nova Zonnestraal were planted with a good view of Cape Hangklip from the western slope and False Bay from the eastern.
Description
An elegant Constantia white blend that marries the purity of Sauvignon Blanc with the textural richness of Semillon. Aromas of elderflower, white peach, and grapefruit unfold, framed by subtle oak spice. The palate is creamy yet fresh, with linear minerality and a refined mid-palate that leads to a crisp, lingering finish.
Food Pairing
Pairs exquisitely with crab, prawns, grilled seafood, creamy poultry dishes, goats’ cheese salad, or white fish in buttery sauces.
