Cederberg
Cederberg is a high-altitude wine estate in the remote Cederberg Wilderness Area, owned by the Nieuwoudt family for generations. With vineyards surrounded by rugged mountain terrain, the estate is known for Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and other South African wines shaped by altitude, isolation and dramatic growing conditions.
Description
This Sauvignon Blanc from Cederberg opens with fresh and vibrant aromas of tropical fruits such as gooseberry, passionfruit, and kiwi, layered with notes of lime and subtle herbaceous undertones. On the palate, the wine offers a crisp acidity and a flinty minerality, characteristic of the high-altitude vineyards where the grapes are grown. The finish is clean and refreshing, with lingering hints of green apples.
Food Pairing
This wine pairs well with light summer salads, seafood dishes, and goat cheese, complementing the fresh, zesty flavors.
