Cederberg
Cederberg is a high-altitude wine estate in the remote Cederberg Wilderness Area, owned by the Nieuwoudt family for generations. With vineyards surrounded by rugged mountain terrain, the estate is known for Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and other South African wines shaped by altitude, isolation and dramatic growing conditions.
Description
This cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc presents a pale yellow hue and expressive aromas of Cape gooseberry, passion fruit, pineapple, kiwi, and hints of lime citrus. On the palate, it balances savory and creamy textures, with a refreshing finish of Granny Smith apples.
Food Pairing
This wine pairs wonderfully with exotic salads, such as caramelized fig and orange with feta, or grilled chèvre on sourdough. It's also an excellent match for tomato-based dishes and goat cheese.
