Cederberg Bukettraube

This wine pairs wonderfully with spicy dishes, especially those with Asian flavors, and also works well with fruity desserts.

Grapes are sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Cederberg region, grown at 1,036 meters above sea level. These vineyards, situated on shale and sandstone soils, benefit from the cool continental climate, which enhances the wine's vibrant and fresh characteristics.

The grapes are hand-harvested early in the morning and undergo a reductive winemaking process, with fermentation at 14°C to retain freshness. The fermentation is stopped to preserve natural sugars, giving the wine its semi-sweet profile with 24.2 g/L of residual sugar.

Cederberg is a high-altitude wine estate in the remote Cederberg Wilderness Area, owned by the Nieuwoudt family for generations. With vineyards surrounded by rugged mountain terrain, the estate is known for Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and other South African wines shaped by altitude, isolation and dramatic growing conditions.
