Cape Of Good Hope
This is a range created in recognition of the Cape of Good Hope’s vinous heritage which stretches back more than 350 years when the first Governor of the Cape planted grapes. These unique wines are the result of irreplaceable parcels of old vines and site specific terroirs. The labels reflect the grape variety as well as the origin and singular characters behind them.
Description
Distinct intermingling of lime leaf and candle wax on the nose - with a light oaky sheen also apparent. Immediately vibrant, tangy and crisp upon entry. Abundant lemon zest which then makes way for stone fruit and nectarine flavour. Rounded and full-bodied with a long, sumptuous leesy richness. The oak is nicely integrated and supports the fruit well. Lovely elegant, dry finish.
Food Pairing
Grilled salmon or soft cheeses.
