The vineyards are situated in a hidden valley in the Walker Bay area, in close proximity to the ocean at an altitude of 350m. the unique soils are a determining factor for the distinct wines created from this site. The pioneering vineyards are planted in a calcareous rich soil that is perfectly suited to the variety. The soil, in combination with proximity and altitude deliver grapes of exceptional quality.

The wine is matured in older French oak barrels.

The are softly crushed and destemmed before they are innoculated and allowed to ferment. Punch downs twice daily. After fermentation the grapes are pressed and malolactic fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks.
