Description
When Pinotage is grown on the foothills of the Breedekloof (meaning Broad Valley), the soil imparts a distinct red cherry aroma to the wine. By fermenting it slowly at cool temperatures, we achieve a soft, almost creamy mouthfeel with abundant cherry and ripe plum flavours, complemented by hints of chocolate and a subtle mocha finish—creating a very balanced and irresistibly moreish wine.
Food Pairing
Pinotage goes surprisingly well with sushi, try it! Thai food is a natural partner as is barbequed meats, particularly game.
