Johan Venter didn’t start as an inventor but as a scientist, a highly structured and controlled thinker. Expertly distilled at the internationally awarded James Sedgwick Distillery, this single cask was so rare and limited that it was destined to be brought to life as a limited release by The Inventer. Matured exclusively in an ex-bourbon cask for ten years, the single malt embraced the subtle hues of the wood, allowing authentic flavours of the spirit to develop and emerge.
Nose:
Fruity with sweet cherries and Christmas cake aromas.
Palate:
Rich and intense fruit and nuts, well balanced with oak.
Finish:
Sweet and soft, long lingering finish.
