Johan Venter didn’t start as an inventor but as a scientist, a highly structured and controlled thinker. A researcher who may have started his career with wine, but in the end, it was spirits that captured his imagination. He went on to become one of the most awarded and respected spirit masters in the world and developed some of South Africa’s most prestigious, iconic, and most loved brands. So, as all great stories actually begin, he left the empire he helped build to begin something all of his own. This is a story about a man who is following his passion and embracing his creativity to shape something new, something rare, something remarkable. This is The Inventer. And this is his legacy.
