Great with steamed scallops with ginger and shallots, or roast turkey with apple stuffing.

A warm, dry winter and spring produced good conditions for flowering and fruit-set. Early summer was warm, but mild conditions in January and February allowed flavours to build slowly while retaining good natural acidity. Welcome rain in late January refreshed vines and encouraged even and complete ripening, with Riesling ultimately showing delicate yet intense flavours.

Matured in stainless steel and bottled early to preserve the bright, fresh varietal fruit characters.

Eden Valley produces elegant Riesling with fine structure and pretty floral characters. The vineyards are grown on extremely shallow, shaly soils, resulting in low yields of intense fruit displaying lovely chalky minerality that reflects the soils the vines are grown in. After gentle crushing and pressing, free-run juice was chilled, cold-settled and racked prior to cool fermentation over 14 days to preserve the fresh, varietal aromas and flavours.
