"Blended from two sites in the Swartland, one on iron-rich soils in Malmesbury, the other on the schist of the Riebeekberg, this is a compact, appropriately ferrous Syrah that was fermented with 100% whole bunches. Left on skins for three weeks, it’s an intense, peppery, almost peaty style, with layers of kelp, green malt, blackberry and steak tartare and a firm, age-worthy finish. 2027-32" – Tim Atkin MW South Africa Report 2026, 94 points
