The nose reveals a nougat nuttiness and complex notes of white peach, lime cordial, and honey. On the palate, the crisp granny smith apple character meets the full richness that balances the vibrant acidity. With the earlier harvest schedule required for Cap Classique, the wine showcases exceptional minerality and character, a testament to the vineyard’s quality. The wine was disgorged and corked early December of 2023. While under cork, the wine ages elegantly, and the fruity floral notes will become support characteristics as the richer, brioche and nutty character take centre stage.
