Caparzo
Brunello Di Montalcino La Casa 2018
Sangiovese from Tuscany, Italy
Bottle size:
750 ml
Bright, intense ruby garnet. Caparzo Brunello Di Montalcino La Casa springs from the glass with an intense, beguiling blend of ripe cherries and plums, plus a bouquet of floral notes, violets, lavender, but also "powerful" notes like iron and cedar. It washes over the palate with a silky wave of ripe dark fruits complemented by notes of liquorice and cocoa. Floral notes provide liveliness, fine-meshed tannins and balanced acidity give structure and stability, beautifully articulated and juicy on the finish.

Altesino
Brunello Di Montalcino Montosoli 2019
Sangiovese Grosso from Tuscany, Italy
Bottle size:
750 ml
Altesino Brunello Di Montalcino Montosoli is ruby red veering towards garnet with ageing. On the nose, saturated by black currant, blackberry and blueberry flavours, with notes of iron, tar, tobacco and wild herbs. Exceptionally clean, fresh and juicy, long and balanced on the palate against the same aromatic notes of iron, tar, tobacco and wild herbs. In the words of James Suckling: “…Montosoli shows its class. One of the wines of the vintage”
