Description
The 2017 Vergelegen Reserve Merlot exhibits a rich, dark garnet color. The nose is vibrant with notes of ripe blackberries, plum, and hints of tobacco, chocolate, and spice. On the palate, the wine is medium- to full-bodied with a silky texture. Flavors of dark fruit dominate, followed by subtle oaky undertones, smooth tannins, and a long, lingering finish.
