In keeping with the style of the award winning 2019 vintage and showing distinctive character of a classic Cabernet Sauvignon, the complex nose reveals rich aromas of juicy black cherries, plums and blackcurrants followed by fragrant cedar wood and tobacco notes. The nose follows on to a full rounded palate of developing flavours of black olives, cassis, and subtle oak spice, with some fine ripe tannins giving a long soft finish. This elegant and fresh Cabernet has a well-balanced mouthfeel and a clean black fruit farewell.

Food Pairing

Bacon-wrapped blue cheese stuffed dates or a savoury mushroom tart would make the perfect start to your meal followed with a good juicy steak, especially slightly fattier steaks like ribeye and sirloin, slow-braised lamb shanks, venison, ostrich, or duck. Grilled portobello mushrooms, eggplant dishes or a smoky black bean burger are great plant-based alternatives. End your meal with a cheese and nut board especially hard cheese like aged cheddar, gorgonzola, and hazelnuts, or enjoy with fresh berries with zabaglione, a blackberry sorbet, or some dark chocolate
