Heritage Voorloper

The ‘Voorloper’ vineyard is one of the oldest syrah vineyards in Stellenbosch. These old hardy bush vines of the SH-99 clone is certified as a Heritage vineyard. The vines are growing on weathered white granite soils resulting in a lean, old-world style syrah.

The grapes were whole-bunch fermented and matured in third fill French oak barrels.
