The vineyards were planted between 1984 & 1989 and are certified heritage vineyards. By registering these vineyards with the Old Vine Project we demonstrate our commitment to showcase exceptional vineyards and protect them for future generations, so creating a sustainable farming model for terroir driven wines.

Once hand-harvested, the grapes were hand-sorted, de-stemmed & crushed into temperature-controlled gravitational drainers. Only the free-run juice was chilled and settled overnight and then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel. The wine was left on the fine lees for 5 months before being blended with a component of lightly oaked wine that had been matured in 500L 3rd & 4th fill, French oak barrels for 5 months; and then finally filtered and bottled.
