2012 in Napa Valley had a dry‐warm winter, followed by generous rains in early spring that helped bud break. The rest of the growing season was characterised by moderate temperatures and abundant sunshine. Harvest began on September 21 and continued through October 20, allowing for ripe but balanced fruit.
