This wine needs no introduction. The intention was to deliver the best possible rendition of Cabernet Sauvignon, and that pursuit of perfection is within reach on this stellar example. The colour of the Per Se is a deep ruby, with a darker core. The beauty of this wine lies in the elegance of aromas and flavours. Subtle vanilla pod, reminiscent of Crème Brûlée, cedar wood and a lavender-like floral notes. Additionally, aromas of rose petals, liquorice, oyster shell and cloves add complexity to the nose. The palate compliments the nose with a mouth-watering acidity and phenomenal tannin structure. A long, lingering finish of cigar box and blackcurrant leaf make for a divine tasting experience.

Stellenbosch Chardonnay is starting to win the hearts of international wine lovers, and few areas show Chardonnay’s quality as exceptionally as the Banghoek Valley. An ever-so-gentle golden hue is seen in the glass, promising a delightful tasting experience. The nose is incredibly inviting; ripe apricots, naartjie, quince and loquat aromas are in abundance. The touch of oak is well integrated, with a light vanilla and slightly smoky characteristics floating at the edge of perception. The wine has a divine mid-palate weight, with a juicy acidity that carries the fruit to a long and zesty finish. Additionally, the palate shows a delicate balance of jasmine, honey melon and orange peel. This wine will age well for another 15 years.

A sumptuous straw-yellow colour in the glass. This Chenin Blanc delivers a splendid tasting experience. On the nose, peaches and cream, honey-melon, mangoes and pineapple. The mouth-feel is sublime, the acidity is zesty, and the fruit is incredibly balanced. The palate shows ripe pears, banana and star jasmine, accompanied by an elegant hint of vanilla and popcorn.
