Crafted from estate-grown Pinotage at Neethlingshof in Stellenbosch. The wine celebrates integrated pest control via owl-perch installations, supporting biodiversity and organic vineyard health.

Aged for up to 18 months in a mix of French and American (Hungarian) oak barrels to build structure, spice, and mocha nuances.

Hand-picked fruit is de-stemmed, crushed, and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel, then matured in oak barrels—60 % Hungarian and 40 % French—for 15–18 months to enhance depth and complexity.

Neethlingshof Estate has a long and rich tradition of wine making in Stellenbosch, the second oldest and most premier wine producing area of South Africa. The Estate occupies an incredibly privileged site with ideal natural conditions, soils, slopes, altitudes and climate to produce a variety of great wines. All the grapes for the Neethlingshof wines are grown on the estate and all the wine is made, matured and bottled in the cellars of the estate.
