Established by Governor Willem Adriaan van der Stel in 1709, Lourensford has a proud history as a world class fruit farm and the wealth of glorious Proteas point to our rich floral heritage. Fortunately, the winemaking tradition was revived when well known Cape business man, Dr Christo Wiese purchased the Estate in 1998.
Description
The 2023 vintage of The Dome Pinot Noir offers aromas of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, with underlying notes of subtle spice. The palate is characterized by fresh fruit flavors that carry through from the nose, with a juicy texture, refreshing acidity, and a mineral finish.
