Description
This latest offering of the Lothian Horny Owl Shiraz is cast in the same mold as its predecessors, a deliciously easy drinking wine that delivers way above its price. This Shiraz has a deep ruby purple colour and a nose of sweet, ripe Victoria plums mixed with gently scented spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. The taste is just as enticing. On the palate, it has a soft and smooth texture with a lovely chocolatey feel. The sweet notes of plum and blueberry are joined by a subtle hint of pepper, while the lively acidity gives the wine freshness and intensity. The finish is a gentle, creamy plum with good length.
