Sauvignon Blanc

Fermentation took place at 14°C to capture the fresh acidity and enhance flavor. The wine was then left on the lees to build complexity before being blended and bottled. The blend includes 10% Semillon, which adds depth and maturation potential​.

The grapes are sourced from multiple regions, with 40% coming from La Motte's vineyards in Franschhoek, another 40% from Stellenbosch, and 20% from the Cape South Coast. Each area contributes its unique character to the blend. The vineyards survived major storms in 2023, and the dry, hot summer that followed resulted in a healthy, early harvest​.

The wine does not undergo extensive barrel aging, focusing instead on freshness and fruit purity. The lees contact adds complexity, making the wine suitable for drinking now, though it can age for a couple of years.
