Kanonkop
The name Kanonkop was derived from a kopje (hillock) from which a cannon was fired in the 17th Century to alert farmers in outlying areas that sailing ships plying the waters between Europe and the Far East had entered Table Bay for a stopover at Cape Town.
Description
The 2025 Kadette Pinotage Rosé presents a delicate pale-pink hue, offering vibrant aromas of strawberries, raspberries, cherries, and rosewater. On the palate, it delivers intense flavors of red apples, melon, nectarine, raspberries, and candied cherries, complemented by a creamy texture. The wine's bright, fresh acidity and long finish make it both a refreshing aperitif and a satisfying companion to food.
