Gevrey-Chambertin Mes Favorites

The Mes Favorites comes from 18 different parcels in Gevrey-Chambertin. The vines were planted between 1945 and 1951.

Aged in oak barrels for 18-22 months, 40% new oak.

Jean-Luc & Eric Burguet estate was formerly known as Alain Burguet. When Alain Burguet officiallly retired in 2011 the winery was turned over to the able hands of his 3 sons Bachelet-trained Jean-Luc and Gouges-mentored Eric and Alain. They farm biodynamically and their de-stemmed fruit is fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wines are bottled without filtration or fining.
