At inevitable Wines, we hand-select grapes from some of South Africa’s finest vineyards, guided by an unwavering belief that only the most exceptional barrels merit bottling. Each wine is a testament to our philosophy of quality above quantity. The name ‘inevitable’ is both a play on my own name and a reflection of the character captured in every handcrafted bottle. With minimal intervention, we allow each wine the freedom to reveal its own distinctive and captivating voice.
Description
Subtle leather and tart red fruit lead, with cranberry to the fore and savoury undertones. The palate is taut and finely structured; vibrant cranberry and fresh watermelon bring clarity and lift, while hints of leather add gentle mid-palate grip to a linear, red-fruited core.
Food Pairing
Serve slightly chilled with charcuterie, grilled lamb cutlets, tomato-based pasta, or mushroom pizza; the wine’s brisk profile flatters salty and umami flavours while refreshing richer cuts.
