At inevitable Wines, we hand-select grapes from some of South Africa’s finest vineyards, guided by an unwavering belief that only the most exceptional barrels merit bottling. Each wine is a testament to our philosophy of quality above quantity. The name ‘inevitable’ is both a play on my own name and a reflection of the character captured in every handcrafted bottle. With minimal intervention, we allow each wine the freedom to reveal its own distinctive and captivating voice.
Description
Refined and aromatic with violet, fresh purple fruit and a quiet line of graphite. The palate is pure and lifted; dark-cherry and plum-skin notes drive depth within a tight frame, with faint graphite adding savoury cut. The finish is dry and linear with freshness and stony clarity.
Food Pairing
Pair with grilled duck breast, herb-crusted lamb, aubergine parmigiana, or aged Gouda; the wine’s floral perfume and graphite savour lend poise to both game and richer vegetarian dishes.
