Idiom is a celebration of wine and words. The award-winning range of premium wines stems from the Bottega family’s Da Capo Vineyards, which are located in the southernmost part of the Stellenbosch wine region, near Sir Lowry's Pass, overlooking False Bay. The range consists of big, bold blends of noble varietals and single cultivar renditions of Italian and Mediterranean grape varietals, all uniquely expressed in a Cape idiom.
Description
The maiden release of Idiom’s Iberian inspired blend. A dark full-bodied wine with savoury notes and rosemary on the nose. A unique wine with liquorice, balsamic and sweet sandalwood notes on the palate. The mineral mid-palate derived from iron-rich clay soils is supported by a long lingering finish.
