Idiom
Idiom is a celebration of wine and words. The award-winning range of premium wines stems from the Bottega family’s Da Capo Vineyards, which are located in the southernmost part of the Stellenbosch wine region, near Sir Lowry's Pass, overlooking False Bay. The range consists of big, bold blends of noble varietals and single cultivar renditions of Italian and Mediterranean grape varietals, all uniquely expressed in a Cape idiom.
Description
Full and complex. A multi-clone blend of five noble varieties. Explosive and evolving aromas of ripe blackberries, leather and pencil crayon shavings are followed by hints of cedarwood, tobacco and trademark cassis character. A serious, tightly packed wine with a long lingering finish. A wine with a great pedigree that will reward cellaring.
