Idiom
Idiom is a celebration of wine and words. The award-winning range of premium wines stems from the Bottega family’s Da Capo Vineyards, which are located in the southernmost part of the Stellenbosch wine region, near Sir Lowry's Pass, overlooking False Bay. The range consists of big, bold blends of noble varietals and single cultivar renditions of Italian and Mediterranean grape varietals, all uniquely expressed in a Cape idiom.
Description
A delicate and complex barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc. Lime yellow in colour. Inviting notes of citrus zest and lemongrass with hints of grapefruit and kumquat. A flinty, chalky, textured wine with notes of granite. Less alcohol, soft acidity and good length. Riper whiffs of dried mango and candied lime complete this interesting and unusual picture.
Food Pairing
Will pair perfectly with fresh seafood and summer salads.
