Grenache Gris

This is a relatively rare varietal grown to a limited extent in the South of France and traditionally interspersed with Grenache noir. This is a vigorous variety, extremely resistant to strong winds and drought and especially productive when grown on dry, stony hillsides. The grapes are almost exclusively used in the production of Rosé wines and single varietal wines from this grape are few and far between. The wines tend to be reminiscent of apricot and other stone fruit with somewhat of an oily palate. Browse our Grenache Gris wine selection online and order the right wine for you.
