Since 1878 Fontanafredda Estate & Winery located in the heart of Piedmont's Langhe region has been a benchmark for Barolo and Barbera wines that deftly balance deep aromas and concentration of fruit with elegance. Description
The colour is bright red becoming garnet-red with deep orange hues as the wine ages. Also, as ageing progresses, the nose shows ever increasing traces of withered flowers, such as roses and, above-all, geraniums. Its warm, soft, richly-textured flavour is generous, velvety and well-balanced, with a lingering finish.

Ideal with flavoursome pasta dishes, meats and medium-ripe cheeses.
