Gran Malbec

Each harvest is handpicked, hand selected, and then fermented with high quality requirements in the most modern equipment. At the foot of the Andes, 120 km south of Mendoza, the Malbec variety rules as the king of this unique terroir. 
This wine was produced with the greatest care in order to achieve a pure Malbec of reference called : “Gran Malbec”.

30% in new barrels, 30% in second barrels, 30% in tank. Duration : 18 months

Filling of the grapes into tanks by gravity. Cold maceration and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Micro- oxygenation during maceration.

Flechas de los Andes is the result of an alliance between Baron Benjamin de Rothschild and Laurent Dassault reflecting the fulfillment of their quest to find a great terroir at the base of the Andes. This partnership symbolises the joint desire of the two families to produce an excellent Argentine wine whose name refers to the symbol of the Rothschild family.
