Domaine Famille Paquet
Based in the village of Davayé in the Mâconnais, the Paquet family founded Domaines des Valanges in the 1980s. In 2016 the Domaine was taken on by the second generation, brothers Camille, JeanBaptiste and Mathieu and renamed Domaine Famille Paquet in 2019. They have since achieved organic certification. The addition of Domaine Famille Paquet brings a specialist independent from the exciting region of the Mâconnais. One, who is farming to the highest standard in producing intellectual wines that champion the region.
Description
The appellation of Pouilly-Fuissé first received premier cru classifications ahead of the 2020 vintage, and it’s clear to see why in this 2023 release from Paquet. It’s full of yellow fruit, wax and florals, whilst retaining real focus on the palate, and brilliant pithy length.
Food Pairing
This Pouilly-Fuissé goes perfectly with lobster, a fillet of turbot, sweetbreads and pan-fried mushrooms.
