Domaine Cornin
At the most southern tip of the Burgundy Region, the Cornin Estate spreads ten hectares around the village of Chaintré, a small, traditional village of the Mâconnais Region. Family run, it is now managed by father Dominique and son Romain, in biodynamic principles. While the domaine was established in its own name in 1993, it was in the hands of the great-grandfather over 100 years ago. One of the treasure of the estate is the venerable old vines, some of which 80-100 years old.
Description
The Plessys! Bearing a climate name that evokes the one of a rich provincial notable, this Pouilly-Fuissé bears a comparison. At ease in all environments thanks to its voluminous attack on the palate intensified by beautiful aromas of ripe peach and roasted pineapple. Gifted with a long arm, just like its mineral finish, giving the whole a first-rate balance. Cut to face the most difficult palates without shaking in the face of a dozen armed snails in battle. The Plessys? Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful representatives of an appellation with a quiet strength.
