Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses. Its rich flavors complement dishes like beef tenderloin, lamb chops, and venison.

The grapes are sourced from Delaire Graff Estate's virus-free mountain vineyards, planted in 2001. The Banghoek region's unique terroir contributes to the wine's distinctive character.

The wine matured for 16 months in 80% new French oak barrels, enhancing its complexity and aging potential.

Grapes were meticulously hand-sorted, de-stemmed, and partially crushed. Fermentation involved a combination of punch-downs and pump-overs at controlled temperatures between 24°C and 26°C. Post-fermentation, the wine remained on the skins for four to six weeks at 16°C.

Delaire Graff is a Stellenbosch wine estate on the Helshoogte Pass, where mountain slopes and cooling maritime influence shape the vineyards. Known for Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, red blends, rosé and MCC, the estate produces polished South African wines with fruit intensity, freshness and structure.
