The wine was produced with meticulous care – hand sorting, whole berry fermentation, gentle extraction of fruit, basket pressed.

A cool start to the 2012 vintage provided for excellent flavour retention. Sporadic heat waves later in the harvest allowed grapes to be picked at optimal ripeness ensuring great body finesse and structure in reds. The grapes were handpicked in early hours of the morning from Delaire Graff Estate’s mountain vineyards. All grapes were extensively hand sorted to ensure only the best quality is used for wine making.

Matured in 80% new French oak barrels and a rigorous selection to decide on only the best.
