Deetlefs Wine Estate, situated in the picturesque Breedekloof (Rawsonville), is the second oldest wine estate in South Africa under ownership of the same family, established in 1822 and celebrated 200 years of existence in 2022. Age old family traditions passed through the generations and an intimate knowledge of every facet of this estate can be experienced in our handcrafted, classic styled wines.
Description
On the nose aromas of baked apples, fresh lime, cherries and raspberries ensure good complexity. On the palate the wine gives a Crisp, fresh and fruitive taste, showing very delicate but lively mousse on entry. This MCC gives a subtle yeasty complexity adding to a very long clean fruity finish.
