Currently, in their fourth generation, the Graaff’s can be attributed many successes, including supplying electricity to the city of Cape Town for the first time, building the biggest refrigeration company in the early 1900s called Imperial Cold Storage, the 1st Baronet was even the mayor of Cape Town at the age of 32. Description
An aromatic, medium-bodied Viognier with a bright, expressive profile. The nose shows ripe stone fruit aromas of apricot and peach, complemented by orange blossom and subtle floral nuances. The palate is textured yet fresh, with balanced acidity supporting the fruit richness and a clean, gently rounded finish that avoids heaviness.
Food Pairing
Pairs well with fragrant dishes such as mild curries, spiced chicken, roasted vegetables and seafood with aromatic herbs. It also complements soft cheeses and lightly creamy sauces.
