Currently, in their fourth generation, the Graaff’s can be attributed many successes, including supplying electricity to the city of Cape Town for the first time, building the biggest refrigeration company in the early 1900s called Imperial Cold Storage, the 1st Baronet was even the mayor of Cape Town at the age of 32. Description
This wine is noted for its bright purple color with a deep violet rim. On the nose, it presents aromas of pepper, cloves, nutmeg, violets, and a savory touch, underpinned by hints of glazed gammon and buchu. The palate offers layers of warm spices, a smooth entry, and a meaty finish. It is well-balanced with soft tannins, delivering a rich, savory, and luscious mouthfeel.
Food Pairing
This Shiraz pairs excellently with pork neck steaks, glazed gammon, or venison cuts. It is also a great complement to festive meals.
