With Lutzville and Darling batches being vinified individually for blending at a later stage, the handpicked grapes were crushed and allowed extended skin contact for approximately 12 hours before the grapes were pressed and settled for inoculation and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. 50% of the juice was fermented in seasoned French Oak barrels, where it was kept on the lees for 6 months with regular stirring in the beginning to enhance mouthfeel and structure. Finally, the portions were blended for flavour, depth, and complexity before being bottled.

The 2024 harvest demonstrated resilience and adaptability, with high-quality grapes and optimistic prospects for the resulting wines. Overall, the harvest was earlier than usual due to warmer weather. However, the wet and cool conditions of winter 2023 were beneficial for vine dormancy and soil moisture replenishment, setting up the vineyards for a strong growing season. A special vineyard selection is made from high-quality vineyards in Lutzville and Darling, in which meticulous vineyard management ensures superior fruit concentration and bolder flavours. The vineyards are mostly nourished by red Hutton soils and yield 6 to 7 tons per hectare.
