Currently, in their fourth generation, the Graaff’s can be attributed many successes, including supplying electricity to the city of Cape Town for the first time, building the biggest refrigeration company in the early 1900s called Imperial Cold Storage, the 1st Baronet was even the mayor of Cape Town at the age of 32. Description
This Merlot exhibits a vibrant, dark ruby red color. The nose presents a splendid array of black cherry, sweet raspberry, and aromatic lavender. On the palate, it is smooth and soft, featuring abundant juicy red berry fruit, sweet liquorice, and exceptionally fine tannins. The finish is clean, long, and lingering.

This Merlot pairs wonderfully with tomato-based pasta dishes, roast chicken, and barbecued lamb chops, complementing the wine's fruit-forward profile and smooth tannins.
