Champagne Lanson
Founded in 1760, Champagne Lanson is one of the oldest houses in the region. A year before the end of her reign, Queen Victoria awarded Lanson the Royal Warrant as an official supplier to the Court of England, and the House has retained this ever since. It is also the official champagne supplier to the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. Champagne Lanson rests on 4 immutable pillars: a meticulous selection of crus; a vinification according to the traditional champagne principle; a rare collection of reserve wines, and longer ageing in cellars.
Description
Eye: Le Rosé has a beautiful subtle pink salmon colour with fine, light bubbles. Nose: The fine scents of raspberry, pomegranate and blood orange enhance a delicate note of rose. Palate: On the palate, a beautiful mineral crispness is accompanied by subtle floral and fruity notes of strawberry, redcurrant and pomelo.
Food Pairing
Half-cooked Salmon in sesame crust and small fennel. Tuna tataki with soy sauce, ginger and wasabi. Strawberries with cream (like at Wimbledon).
