Ca'Viola

Ca' Viola winery, founded by Beppe Caviola in 1991, has its headquarters in Montelupo, a small town in the Langhe, where from many generations his family lives. As a boy Beppe is attracted to the world of wine and, in fact, he decided to attend the School of Enology in Alba. After graduation he went to work at the Center for Enology at Gallo, where he became friends with Maurizio Anselmo that in Rodello, a small village in the Langhe, he delighted in cultivating a small plot of vineyard with the help of a tractor. It’s the beginning of a dream that led Beppe Caviola very far that, with perseverance and determination, never get discouraged, at the cost of great sacrifice, has successfully produced its first wine in 1991, vinified in the garage of the house of his family. Elio Altare, producer already famous for the production of Barolo, one day taste the wine of Beppe and encourages him to continue. Many years have passed since 1991, when he came out the first bottle of Dolcetto, and Beppe continued on his way, which has brought him in very far.
