We are planting varieties in areas of Stellenbosch where we believe they are best suited. Granitic soils, altitude and cooling ocean breezes will allow these vineyards to produce quality grapes. These grapes will give us the best opportunity to produce terrior-focused wines. Grenache and Pinotage from young vineyards give us fruit and aromatic excitement, while mature Polkadraai Hills Syrah vineyards give the wine structure, depth of flavour and a further sense of place

For Stellenbosch-based cousins Gavin Bruwer and Bruwer Raats their minds are always focused on the future. So much so that in 2014 they combined their youth and experience to create B Vintners Vine Exploration Co. – a wine range that grants them an opportunity to explore the vines together within the Cape Winelands.
